The Ghana Energy Awards winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges. Neither the Ghana Energy Awards nor its sponsors will submit a vote or select the winners. The judging process will rely on the expertise of an impartial panel of international energy experts whose background and experience include regulation, policy making, corporate leadership, trading and strategic consulting.

All relevant information on the nominees must be submitted for consideration. The judges will then evaluate award nominees using benchmarks established for respective award categories. The validation of results will be carried out by Mazars Ghana - the only entity to know the final results ahead of the gala event.

The main gala event takes place on 17th November 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra. The winners will be publicly declared at the event for the first time and handed their awards.
