Nominations can be submitted by either directly from a company, from an involved individual, or from a third party. In any case, the Ghana Energy Awards team will send a written acknowledgment to the nominated company or individual to officially inform them about their nomination. All nominations and supporting materials must be submitted electronically through the www.ghanaenergyawards.com’s online platform or via email at email@example.com
NoteBefore submitting nominations, please study the Award brochure for detailed reference to the judging criteria for each category.
Companies or individuals should not be nominated for more than one award that is based on the same merit or as a single achievement as justification for both. Such nominations will be discarded by the judges.
Ghana Energy Awards further reserves the right to
• move a nomination to another category if the entry rather fits the other category
• not to hand out an award if there were not enough submissions in that category
• not to consider incomplete entries
With each nomination, a company or personal profile, a rationale not more than 300 words that summarized the reason for the entry, in case of corporate entry size of company and financial statistics that includes total revenue and profit in Ghana Cedis for the award period, and for individual categories additional insight into the nominee’s qualifications and background in form of a CV, must be included. Any additional materials that support the nomination can be submitted that may include web links, photographs, and other documents.
GEA recommends that all summaries are tailored to the respective category for which it was made and include examples of outstanding accomplishments, the risks involved, significant obstacles that were overcome and any other relevant information that is deemed necessary.
All information and supporting documents submitted via the Online Nomination or email are considered strictly confidential and will only be used by the Energy Media Group (organizers), Ghana Energy Awards and its panel of judges.
Nominations will be open until 26th October 2018. The Top 4 Nominees will be shortlisted by the judging panel by 30th October 2018.
GEA will notify the Top 4 Nominees 1-month prior to the awards ceremony on the Ghana Energy Awards website, in a press release and contacted directly about their chance of winning the GEA in the respective category.
Recipients of awards won’t be declared and notified before the Ghana Energy Awards gala ceremony. The shortlisted candidates must attend the awards ceremony on the 30th November 2018, at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
